About K-Star Academy
K-Star Academy is a creative hub where students are encouraged to express their passion for performing arts in a free and artistic way.
All of our teachers are professionals working within the industry, who are passionate about igniting your children’s creative interest and honing their skills and talents in drama, singing and dance.
The Academy also offers the unique opportunity for students to be assessed by the Irish Board of Speech & Drama examinations* and receive feedback in an encouraging and positive way.
K-Star Academy is delighted to offer students an opportunity to be a part of our professional agency, helping students to be seen by top casting directors in Ireland.
Our creative casting agency allows students to be seen by in-demand industry casting directors for various roles, with students working on T.V. adverts and short films, amongst other productions. Our acting and casting agency also gives students a taste of what it is like to work within the performing arts industry.
*Drama exams are optional and will not be forced upon any student.
Our Philosophy
While each student plays a vital role in working together as a team, K-Star Academy also recognises that a team only thrives when each student is encouraged to develop their own complimentary skills.
As a fun place to grow confidence and develop new skills, we organise an end of year show for all parents and extended family and friends. This is a great opportunity for all the students to perform what they have been working on throughout the year, and show you what we’ve been doing.
